I know those are difficult words for you but with just a little knowledge you would figure it out.
Bottom line is the US could pay off it's entire debt tomorrow if it wanted to simply by printing 20 trillion dollars and handing it over to our creditors.
Now of course this would make the value of the US Dollar currently in the system absolutely worthless, but we would in fact have paid off the debts and thus no reason to declare bankruptcy.
