While I generally vote against any tax increases, I think 4 unduly limits the ability of government to adjust to things which involve new technologies not considered in 2015 and why should those folks get a free ride if it's deemed appropriate. So while I'd generally oppose the tax, I don't like the restriction.
With the voter registration, I think the State will spend so much on lawsuits brought by opponents that it'll cost far more than the $2.1 m estimate.
And on the tobacco stuff, haven't those folk already been tapped enough? I don't smoke, but damn, those proposals are obscene.
