SNL is a comedy show. He's complaining about parody. Your linked story describes a push back against what Obama said were lies presented as truth, which is entirely different than satire. Trump can't even handle comedians making fun of him.

Also worth noting that Obama was promoting a protest, not using government to shut anything down. Trump's tweet didn't say *how* he wanted to "retire" the show, but he has in the past supported jailing journalists who write things he doesn't like.
