That was a bad route by Moore

Lock is looking at that side of the field, sure, but he doesn't have only one receiver option. Moore was another option. Moore screwed up and went to the same place in the field as Culkin, bringing his defender with him. If Moore had run the correct route, there wouldn't have been an interception.
I don't mind being undertalented. What I mind is so many players making mental mistakes and fundamental errors that even average players can master. Moore dropped three balls yesterday. He gets open, but often won't catch with his hands. He sometimes misses blacks, and runs wrong routes.
The dropped passes are backbreakers. If Moore wasn't on the field, Lock might go to someone else who is open who'll catch it, even if that's not Moore's backup.
Inconsistency is worse than less talent. And if you don't believe me, look at all the non-P5 teams that stay in games with gutsy, blue collar, smart play. They might have a few high-talent guys, but those teams don't beat themselves. They make superior teams earn it.
That used to be us. Now we beat ourselves and just give games away.
