goals are quite different.
I would say that is because of Satan's influence on the globalists, and that Satan is the ultimate puppeteer on that side. I realize you don't believe that for a second, but to an extent it doesn't matter as we still may have some common ground regardless of our beliefs about the ultimate source of their goals.
They want world domination and the Catholic Church is perhaps their biggest obstacle to getting the people on board with their agenda.
One key are of conflict there, among others, is the globalists' belief that there are far too many people in the world and that they need to reduce the world population drastically. If one believes that the Georgia Guidestones are the globalists' version of the Ten Commandments, and I don't necessarily assert that they are, the globalists' goal would be to reduce world population to 500,000,000 people.
In any event the globalists have been strong proponents and advocates of abortion, sterilization and artificial contraception for many decades now and their chief adversary in that regard is the Catholic Church.
The Catholic Church also teaches the principle of subsidiarity, which as can be seen in the Podesta emails is something that is a major irritant to them as it is diametrically opposed to their goals of a top down world government. Subsidiarity is the principle that government should always be as close to the people as is reasonably possible. Neighbors should work together for how they think various issues should be handled in their community, issues beyond their scope should be handled by the next higher level of self governance, typically a municipality. What is better handled at the next jurisdiction up would be handled there, perhaps county government, or township or whatever, and so on. National governments might best be suited to self defense for the nation & perhaps state border disputes or nationally based trade, and international governance should be limited to things like national border disputes or trade disputes and helping to keep the peace between nations.
I think the Catholic Church's teachings make far more sense than the globalists, and I think most people would agree with that. But the globalists will not countenance that whether it is truly the will of the people or not. They have the money and the power to try and impose their will upon people and to use their immense wealth to convince people through their enormous propaganda network. If that fails they can try and push their agenda through with softer forms of coercion, such as intimidation, such as voter fraud, use of government power that they have already acquired, businesses using carrot and stick methods of getting people to do what they want and so on. This has helped them to consolidate their power.
But the Church is still a thorn in their side and has been somewhat effective in thwarting or at least slowing down and impeding them from fully achieving their goals so far. The Catholic Church is a major enemy. They have had some success in trying to undermine it and attack it both from within and from without but they have not been able to eliminate... and will never be able to.
But the battle is about to escalate. They can smell the victory and are becoming impatient. They are ready to intensify the battle even to the point of all out war and I believe that is coming.
We shall see I suppose.
