It's been over for a number of years, but is manifesting itself more directly and obviously now.

The mass of citizens dependent upon govt exceeds the producing class, this is now reflected in the ruling elite class and media having the power to do whatever it wants without risk.

It's over, buddy. 'Murica will continue a decline that will accelerate but could be punctuated or abbreviated by something horrific as the decline progresses (nukes).

it won't be pretty, but I'm hoping against hope it's a 30-50 year thing and not sooner, but I'm not certain - these things have taken dramatic turns in history.

all of this now is theater and noise against the bigger picture behind it. a nation must produce to survive, and not produce fiat currency propped up by military superiority. It will not last.
