be viewed as provocative and probably mocking. It is going to garner more of a response than a white guy holding a black lives matter in a white neighbor hood.
I also noticed that he chose a very public area, in front of a grocery, in the white neighborhood. In the black neighborhood it was just on the street. Even though a street is also public people view that as their territory. I will react much differently to something going on in the street in front of my house than I will at the strip mall down the street.
I do believe the reactions will still be different but this was not an apples to apples comparison.
I also agree that he was an idiot to intentionally provoke people in a black neighborhood. That could have ended very badly.
