1) Yes it is sad where we are.
2) Better candidate is going to win. The woman is flawed but at LEAST she knows what the job is and the importance of the interdependence of countervailing forces in the world. That she is as forgiving of FINANCE is troubling. Bernie Sanders though may head the Senate and will pursue Wall St. Clinton knows the job. Don had no clue. Still doesn't. He had no chance as I said from the start.
Now GOP and the RIGHT for 30 years has been crowing that govt is the problem, govt is the enemy, govt needs to be defeated. The only reason many on the Right enter - those that do, do so to cash in and in fact CONTRIBUTE to the problems tied to K Street. SOLID GOOD PUBLIC SERVICE which, despite protestations one moronic poster here, can be a great work of one's professional life. To actually SERVE THE NATION and the people therein can be noble. Sht, the Roosevelt's knew that. So did Ted Kennedy and Tip O'Neil, But you drive your best and brightest to just cash in - THIS is what you get, these two choices you bemoan. Thanks
