far IMO, I think the video statement last night was a good move to get ahead of it and control the narrative somewhat. He needs to follow it up with something more substantial today, potentially even a press conference, to address it further before the debate, so it's not as much of a distraction.

Then, of course, he needs to have a great debate performance and come across as a genuinely good guy, which will be a very challenging task, but certainly doable.

If he does those things, he will be fully back in this race. If he doesn't, then it will be a real long shot, he'll basically have to pray that every working class white guy in America goes out to vote for him, LOL.
