That was all very weird to me

Jordan Barnett posts up against assistant coach a foot shorter than he is then inexplicably bats the ball out of bounds. (It appears he was supposed to do this?)
Then he dives across the floor sideways to cover a ball rolled right in front of him.
Then he runs over and allows some student manager pile-drive him and allow him to elbow him in the head.
Then he runs down the court against no defense and dunks it while the rest of the team waves towels and jumps around.
Maybe this is a common drill and I am simply unfamiliar with how these practices are conducted. I am not really saying this was a bad thing; it just seemed very weird.
