We agree on the misguided nature of his protest support.

But realize there is a whole world of politics where all that happened there was the work of heroes. For those folks, there is no massive negative. Just the opposite, it's a massive positive. So if you take away the political stuff, are you really left with a bad apple football player?
I think he has grown significantly since he's been here, as evidenced by the interview where he talked about his evolving relationship with the strength coaches and his (then) temporary demotion from the starting position.
In the LSU game he shoved yes, but 'melee'? I don't think it went quite that far.
Every season we have players that get flagged and/or ejected because they momentarily lose their cool on the field. No one likes to see that happen but if the incident involves J'Mon, it's the end of the world. Just this last game Charles Harris and Brandon Lee got ejected. Bad apples?
And that's why I'm saying, forgive the kid and move on. Especially if you think he's not showing regret and or apologizing. Because then he doesn't have anybody to fight against. He's our player and we wish him the best - I'd hope every player felt that from the fans.
Or we can boo and make them think we don't like them and we don't want them - but when has that ever worked out?
