Since that point not sure it is fair to ku to try and make a comparison, one would come off sounding like an imbecile justifying the ku end of that argument.

ku is legitimately one of the top 10 programs of all time (assuming you don't factor in being the dirtiest of all time in terms of determining legitimacy). For some reason, their fanbase is compelled to pretend they are something they are not, so they always come off sounding absurd projecting their program into a realm of eliteness they simply don't have the resume to support.
