It's just like the Kahn family controversy, which hurt DT in the polls temporarily, but 10-14 days later he rebounded after the media stopped talking about it and the masses forgot about it. NO ONE talks about the Kahn family ordeal anymore, but it was all you heard about for a straight week.
Early voting has started, but the vast majority of undecideds/independents/moderates will wait until November to vote, and DT has plenty of time to shore up their confidence and maybe even surpass HRC in the polls. And that's significant, because I don't think he has to be ahead of HRC in the polls to beat her, due to what I believe to be a HUGE enthusiasm gap (i.e. eventual voter turnout differential). In other words, Trump's 38% of the electorate could very well crush Hillary's 45% of the electorate in terms of voter turnout.
