Republican's had good candidates, aka rubio, cruz, trump.

The mainstream folks ignored trump, who correctly read and understood the desire for change. Instead, they simply ignored trump to attack each other.

Once trump had several victories, momentum the other should have united behind cruz (being the leading voter getter other than trump).

Instead, rubio kasich decided to run with convention fantasies of being selected, letting trump run away with
the victory.

Trump deserved the nomination

Hillary is far worse.

She corrupted the entire dem nomination process, including putting in corrupt officials, essentially bought off the entire dem party, kept everyone out of race. She probably wanted bernie in at start, knowing it would look horrible with no other candidates.

even so, sanders still nearly won, because of just how bad, corrupt hillary is. Without the superdelegates, sanders likely does win.
