The aspect that really stinks about this is that the KU hoops program has done NOTHING to deserve a special website in the Star.
I mean, if the KU hoops program had ANY sort of legacy of success, or national prominence in the sport, it might be understandable.
But they're NOT an 'elite' program! EVERYONE knows that!
And they lose to Bucknell and Bradley in the first round of the NCAA Tournament EVERY 'EFFIN YEAR!
And don't even get me started on their string of conference titles! They're 'meaningless'!
Why does the Star want to celebrate a legacy of 'failure'?
It's so unfair!
