and it would hurt his legacy. His legacy will be defined under these four scenarios:
1. Will Iran go nuclear within the next 2 years?
2. Will rich countries, such as Canada, Germany, UK, and Japan, finally catch up with the US in economic growth and living standards within the next 2 years?
3. Will Obamacare survive and eventually thrive or collapse?
4. Will US allies maintain their security interests?
If all four of these scenarios work in Obama's favor, he'll be a great president. If 3 of the 4 scenarios work in his favor, he'll be considered a good president. If 2 of the 4 scenarios occur, he'll be seen as an average or mediocre president. If 1 of the 4 scenarios are favorable toward Obama, he'll be considered subpar. If none of the 4 work in his favor, he'll be considered a poor president.
Count me in the camp of him being good or average. I would say that Obamacare would be the most likely to fail, but if it's replaced with a public option and that succeeds, then that would cushion the blow. I do see at least 2 of those scenarios working mostly in his favor, but only time will tell.
