I was there until the 3 point drill as well.
Altman was awesome to listen to. Very intelligent basketball coach who taught everyone in attendance a great deal in very little time.
I got up and walked out halfway through Groce's clinic. I have never liked him and I could have put on a better clinic on running the pick and roll offense.
Ford did nothing, but pimp his new program.
I talked to Coach Anderson before their practice. Great guy, he joked about the infomercial Ford was putting on for SLU, so i jokingly told him I was leaning heavily towards SLU, Kim fired back really quickly "What league are they in anyway?" It caught me off guard, so i paused before responding and he said "Exactly." We all got a good laugh out of it.
The Tigers look improved. They are very athletic and getting more length. They need to add some muscle to some guys, but overall I am optimistic about this season. They probably won't set the world on fire, but don't be surprised to see a 16 to 19 win team that could be on the verge of bigger and better things next year. They were all really excited about C.J. Robert's commitment. He is the real deal according to the coaches.
