A person swearing or claiming they are a citizen doesn't alter the FACT that only govt can make or unmake you a citizen and they did so to pickle (and you) at birth, without your input.

Whether you claim it, use it, don't use it, whatever, makes no difference.

Citizenship is a tag applied to you by govt, not something you opt-in for at birth or later in the case of pickle, you and I.
