you keep calling it a "silly act" but don't explain why it is silly. he drew attention to a subject, that's pretty much the point of a protest. i get that you are gung-ho on government authoritatrianism and refuse to question it, especially when it comes to flag waving, but what is so silly about refusing to stand for State worship?
