i don't know if you have any background dealing with or knowing recruits. First of all, as a coach you have to have great connections with these AAU teams. And yes it does matter if you are recruiting well at home. If you are not you can't expect to bring in great talent from out of the state. It starts in state. You recruit better players in state other kids connected in the AAU circuit begin to take a look because they play each other or either on the same team and they are from out of state. If you had a teammate that went out of state and you saw that as a trend you would question why? Why would you leave the school that is located in your back yard. We are not talking one player that might have just wanted to play out of state. You guys are missing your top talent every year.


Top 4 from the state 2015, 2016, 2017.

You think a 5 star athlete from out of state wants to attend MO and he doesn't have anyone to play with? If you can't take care of home you can't expect the top athletes to want to come. Just get excited about a visit here and there. But they will be signing somewhere else.
