anyone like me who has never taken any "martial arts" training of any kind, and who doesn't fight regularly

I'd think the majority of the male population probably fits into that category. Probably 30% have fighting "experience" and of the ones that dont, I'm bigger than most.

I'm not an uncoordinated doof, I played plenty of sports and played them well growing up, and anyone who has experience with fighting would beat my ass for sure, but I don't even think thats half the male population, maybe 30%
