I don't recall him missing, although he probably did. Lots of makes ...#1 UcLA, Ed Obannon (everyone remembers edney but Obannon was their star).

What also comes to my mind is Kim English vs Marquette when he came off the bench to make 2 clutch FTs. He was a low minute contributor all year - freshman - and he hit some big 3s too. He played big for us- his coming out party. Not near the performances you mention, but still a great "performance".
