Before announcing his transfer, Barnett went scoreless in 32 of the final 35 games he suited up for at UT. The exceptions being a made 3 pointer in 3 minutes of play against TCU, a made free throw in 6 minutes of play against Samford, and a pretty efficient performance in 13 minutes against UT-San Antonio in which he scored 12 points.

He also isn't eligible until 2nd semester this season, so he will miss the bulk of non-con play where we face most of the opposition we have a chance at defeating. While on paper he looks like he could be our most talented player, its more reasonable to think of any contribution he gives us this season as a bonus rather than count on him for significant contributions. His actual production to date is more akin to a very poor man's Duece Bello in terms of an incoming transfer.
