Scrooge was a liberal

Scrooge believed taxpayer funded government institutions were responsible for the poor not personal charity. That is the liberal view and it is backed by studies. According to every single study done on the issue liberals by far give the least to charity and conservatives by far the most. Liberals even advocate to take away the deduction for giving to charity because liberals want to stifle personal charity in favor of government programs.

Even liberal Bill Maher said on his show that if he was injured lying in a ditch he would hope a religious conservative came by because they would stop and help and liberals would just drive by.
