He's got 8 losses and 6 blown saves...his era is over 4 and his whip going in to the game was 1.44, those are terrible numbers. Nobody in their right mind would continue to roll a guy out like that in the 8th inning.
He didn't even get the loss tonight, came in with runners on first and second and gave up 2 hits in 4 or 5 pitches maybe.
It defies logic to continue to pitch him in tight games.
