that Kim would be a tactical improvement over Haith, that he would retain the bulk of his inherited assets, and that given his tenure he would be more prepared. That led to an overprojection, of which I was certainly initially guilty of, that he would be able to do a better job in the short term. I think those were reasonable assumptions to have at the time even if we now know retroactively they were not solidly based.

While it certainly shouldn't be surprising that such a hire led us to this place, I do think it was very hard to anticipate it coming at quite this pace and trajectory and would submit that I don't think even the most pessimistic could have envisioned him doing quite this badly.
