Pinkel rewarded Odom for leaving the comforts if home and going to hard place to succeed. He took a lesser job to gain experience. On the other hand, Kul saw many on original staff promoted, yet he was denied that opportunity even though he was paved our way into the SEC. He had a point. Handled it terribly though.
