to college by everyone around me. Parents, teachers, high school counselors, etc. I actually wanted to join the Navy right after high school since my Dad and both Grandfathers were in the Navy. Dad sat me down and said he thought I would be wasting an opportunity to go to college that he never got so I listened to him and went to college.
