She needs "press conferences" now to explain the stupid things she said the night before. The press is probably working with her today, to figure out how precisely to phrase the question to best give her the best chance to explain it.
As they did with her tarmac press conference, the stage will be set with a couple questions about how unfair the press is to her, how she is constantly maligned and abused, how women around the world need a champion, like her.
Only then, after a sympathetic foundation ha been laid, can they ask her what seems to be a tough question, one for which she will have a ready-made and practiced answer.
