Found this part about his connection to Kim interesting:
Emanuel Dildy initially connected with Kim Anderson and Brad Loos at Kennedy-King when the pair came to recruit a player to Central Missouri. Impressed with Dildy’s work ethic, Loos and Anderson kept open lines of contact.
In 2012, Dildy joined the coaching staff at Eastern Illinois that also included former Missouri assistant Bob Sundvold. Sundvold vouched for Dildy this summer when Anderson — who was an assistant with Sundvold at Missouri from 1982-85 — reached out to him about bringing Dildy to the Tigers.
Eastern Illinois Coach “Jay Spoonhauer was looking for a guy that could come in and help us in Chicago, help us in the state of Illinois,” said Sundvold, who is now the coach at Missouri-St. Louis. “What we found out was he had a pretty far-reaching recruiting network, and the other deal was he just” had “great enthusiasm, responded well and reacted well and really related well to all the student-athlete needs to things that come up.”
While he specialized in coaching guards at Loyola, he also has experience coaching forwards with the Ramblers and at Kennedy-King. How he will be used on Missouri’s staff is still unclear.
