CNN did a "fact check on the fly" after Trump advisor Boris Epshteyn said Hillary Clinton and her staff destroyed mobile devices with hammers.
"Hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on," CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin said to stop the strategist after he made the claim.
"Yes, they did," Evan Perez, a CNN legal fact-checker said Monday to network anchor. "There were 13 devices, mobile devices, and 5 iPads that the FBI said in some way were used with her private e-mail server. And they did, in some cases, just destroy them with hammers when they were done using them."
