Supposedly is ok gradewise now, but he has already played four years of high school ball. Had to repeat his freshman year academically, so he is out of athletic eligibility.

Not sure how he was able to play as a freshman when he ended up not passing the year, but that is what I read. Purdue fans have talked about it quite a bit and have an article that details his inability to play this season in high school.
