What I'm talking about is "Strawman" being someone that buys a gun for a felon.

Yes, there are laws against someone knowingly buying a gun for a criminal, but it must be proven they knew this to be the case. Lessor charges for non-felons.

But the problem is the gun stores and gun shows. There have been cases of two people walking in. One says "I want that one", and the other fills out the application.

As far as the law is concerned the gun store is not criminally involved in this transaction. There have been a few successful civil law suits, when cops have been shot and killed.

Guns are also given as gifts. So that means many, many guns make it to the secondary market. I think we need better control. If you need a gun it needs to be registered.

If you're talking about gun buy backs. I have no problem with that. Fewer unregistered guns on the streets is a good thing.
