She was involved in numerous protests, not just the infamous moment on the quad.

a professor of communications should know the second ammendment, freedom of the press far, far more than forgetting it in the "heat" of the moment.

She essentially was calling upon others to stop, or assault the reporter, for daring to do his job in a public space.

You'll excuse it, has a minor indiscretion.
