You guys are BLIND as a BAT. The first thing Kenny Anderson said more or less was we shouldn't be out chasing 5 star recruits we should be out getting guys who want to come to Missouri. Hmmm... so the best players out there are lining up to play at Missouri?
News flash... the best players dream of playing at Kansas, Duke, North Carolina and the list goes on. They do NOT dream of playing at Mizzou. Its the coaches job to convince them they want to play at Missouri. In other words Anderson set you up to expect HORRIBLE basketball. Anderson has no vision no energy and no passion to get into the thick of battle to FIGHT CLAW AND BEG for players to come to Missouri. What a waste of time.
Winning basically 20 games over two seasons and being a total laughing stop of a program and he's still coaching the team... if that isn't second class what is?
The point isn't Odom the point is he's never run a program... YOU ARE IN THE FREAKING SEC DUMMY! Its all about fund raising and recruiting which are essentially one in the same. If we are in the Mountain West sure hire Odum which is exactly where he should be coaching right now earning his stripes.
NO NO NO take the cheapest option a guy with no experience and make him the head coach to learn on the job in basically the NFL. Give me a break.
That is excepting being SECOND CLASS!
Not willing to invest what it takes to bring the facilities up to SEC/NFL standards is not going to get it done sorry.
Look at that hell hole of a baseball field YOU ARE IN THE SEC ... simply its not going to get it done.
You thought big joining the SEC not THINK BIG to compete in the SEC. Losing AD's every 12 months isn't going to make that happen that I can tell you for sure.
