of it made a lot sense. While he & MU can certainly prohibit guns on campus/in the workplace, to attempt to void a Constitutional Right in their private lives seemed a stretch at best. Particularly as a state school & the fact that your recruiting players in SEC Country (Southeast, Missouri, TX, etc where hunting & gun ownership is prevalent. That seemed very problematic - Finding players who were willing to voluntarily give up their 2nd Amendment Right while playing for MU in those parts didn't seem like the best strategy).
