i just talked with a friend who grew up there who knows law inforcement, they said 100%, the gang leaders arrested by the truckload led to instability, initiation killings, fueds and wars, it threw it all in hyper drive.
i'm all for criminals behind bars.
I'm not going to call any of them a victim, either, this isn't the 1980's, the surpise is up. every single one of these gang memebers have been lectured and preached at for years that gangs will send you to prison or death.
