First of all, deal with that fact. Everything is an uphill grind for that program...which is why Franklin left Nashville on the first thing smokin' as soon as his lightning in a bottle started to fade. Mason is a solid, "fundamentals" coach, but tonight they gave it away...started acting like the game was over. This loss has huge implications for them....Reminds of a certain Pinkel squad a few years back that failed to qualify for a bowl game because they stupidly gave away a game to a far less-talented Vandy team. Mason can definitely coach, but at Vandy you can't afford to squander winnable games. He might get fired eventually, but that doesn't mean he couldn't succeed somewhere else.
