Just did a quick look at their 2015 losses...

...which doesn't mean much, but it's all we've got for now. Here are the points they put up in their five losses and the correlating defensive rank of the opponent (keeping in mind that Mizzou was #6 in the nation in total D).

OU (#39) - 24 pts
OSU (#99) - 26 pts
Baylor (#62) - 36 pts
TCU (#63) - 10 pts
K-State (#105) - 23 pts

So again, just going by that output and a similar returning offensive squad this year, we can loosely measure how they stack up against various defenses. And since Mizzou's offense is such a question mark, it's the D that could show us what's needed, score-wise.

With this Missouri defense, I'd like to think WV will struggle more than they did against the Big 12 last year. I can see them putting up 17, and I can see Mizzou putting up 24 on a D that ranked #61 and lost the majority of their starters.

How's that? 24-17, Mizzou.
