Do the same thing with intelligent policy. The only thing that is broken is NOT enforcing existing immigration law. Start doing it. No gov't benefits for any illegal. They pay for all healthcare, and any schooling for illegal children. No welfare whatsoever, including anchor babies - which of course shouldn't be allowed. Void the damn 14th amendment. Deport law breakers immediately.

That alone would do about all that can be done about it. Unless we have a total recession and half the country losses their job. Then they'd just stay home. We might start immigrating there, especially if the dums keep running the country.
