For instance, there is a demographic of people that if it rains, they don't bother to vote, even though they have chosen a candidate. Knocking on doors beforehand may help motivate them. There will be plenty of people, such as yourself, who have chosen a candidate and yet may not go vote. Turnout is absolutely the key to winning an election.
