Can you imagine if we decided to replace Pinkel with an unprecidented move of a D2 coach, he pulled a staff together of high school and JUCO coaches, we suffered back to back worst seasons in program history where we were just unthinkably bad in all facets of the game, went on probation, players were continually getting arrested / having academic issues / getting suspended, we lost out on all the in state talent and all of our players transferred, suffered historically low attendance numbers, were projected to get last in the SEC a 3rd year in a row......and then we brought the same coach back again for year 3?
Of course that would never happen, because MU hasn't given up trying to compete in football.
