The guys controlling the world's money and the mainstream media aren't just going to roll over and concede. They are going to adjust.
They can start buying up a lot of the alternative media, especially the most popular ones. They can also become advertisers and donors and gain some influence... or they could control Google & other search engines, in effect controlling access. They can also harass and shut down sites that won't succumb... and they can even shut down the internet entirely if they want to, as several countries have already demonstrated.
