Roommate Koran Ward was a high school basketball player in the Chicago Public league at the same time as Russell Woods. To somehow get randomly placed together by some apartment complex in Columbia would have to go down as one of the most remarkable coincidences of all time.

Fairly safe to say they knew each other previously.
