it seems like many of them end up boosting their profile while at Mizzou, particularly the top prospects like Maclin. Be playing time or just being on a slightly less star studded roster. DGB had personal issues but ended up with a lot of playing time and big time exposure culminating with his SEC championship performance.

Even a guy like Chase Daniel may have buried on an SEC roster instead of the success and exposure he had at Mizzou.
