If you can afford it whole hog is great, so you don't have to stake out a spot up front. Plus you have your meals ready for you. Like all fesitvals the VIP options are expensive (and more so if you take your time waiting to buy)

BBQ options have improved since the first year, but don't expect judged food. Food is/was vendor only, pretty typical of festival food. Nothing extraordinary.

Seating doesn't really exist, and standing is first come first served. Restrooms, are unpleasant as most festivals--big crowds using portapotties--yuck.

If you can wait on eating many affordable options in Columbia that are much better.

If I spent that much money on tickets, I would go to all the shows. Really many great acts and you probably will end up liking many of the bands you've never seen.
