Even people who were for Obama care knew that we had to start somewhere It is the only play that they could get passed after all Bob dole was the author of it. Our world economy is anything but stable ( need overall banking regulations) Not do to excess taxes our largest expansion period in the USA was during a time with Higher taxes but more targeted exemptions. In some places there are excess regulations but they are usually on smaller businesses. We have had some job growth. Considering the problem that we had in 2008 and the lack of a solid infrastructure bill are job growth has been decent. One of the biggest problems has been the banks hanging on to their money making money on excessive fees and excessive interest rates on cards and credit risk. not loaning money to people who could invest and rebuild their business. Hell the government had guaranteed their risk by bailing them out.
