I think it was when I was walking to the concourse to get a beer in Kansas City when we were down by 25 at halftime to a poor KSU team and looked like a junior high squad. Frankly, I'm ashamed of my poor attitude and outlook but simply don't see a light at the end of the tunnel. I fell into the same doldrums with the football team in the late 80's and 90's. I honestly do still hope for the best even though, as you well stated, I know better.....
