Each team was glad to get something for a player they didn't want anymore.

DGB had a lack of work ethic and there could have been other issues as well.

Titans desperately needed a backup OL and the Eagles are bereft of talent at WR.

It's a cheap bet for the Eagles. If he performs, they got a guy with first round talent who could be All-Pro. If he doesn't perform and keep his nose clean, they cut him in the preseason. Great move by them, IMO.
