Haith actually was able to recruit and retain NBA talent to Mizzou, or at least guys who got a look. I don't think it is arbitrary at all that he brought in Clarkson, Jabari Brown, Oriakhi. Etc. and was able to retain Pressey, English, Denmon and Bowers. We have learned that most of those, according to the prevailing thought of the KA supporters, were "bad attitudes" and poor players and I suspect that, given that knowledge, they would all have been sent to the door under KA had he been hired instead of Haith, thus expediting our collapse. I considered Haith a very mediocre coach, probably even poor, but we had players who could compete in the SEC, some who even could play in the NBA, and none who ever lost to UMKC.
